I was discharged from our beloved Corps on February 9, 1965. Two days later, without any money or a job, I got engaged. I found employment a few months later with the Post Office in Chattanooga, TN. The GI Bill came in very handy as I pursued my degree from the University of Tennessee. In the meantime, I wound up with 3 boys and a girl. In 1976, I was appointed a US Postal Inspector and was transferred to Syracuse, NY where I spent the next 8 years shoveling snow. In 1984, I was transferred to St. Louis where I have remained.

In 1987, it was determined by my wife that I was excess baggage and I was granted a divorce. In doing so, I lost the requisite house and car. In 1996, I retired with 35 years of Federal service. In 2005, I located Gordon Hagan via the Internet. After a couple of days getting to know one another again, we started looking for others we served with in 1stCompRadCo. As they say: The rest is history.
